Welcome to our Men’s Summit
Welcome to our Men’s Summit 2023. Committed to social impact, our Summit brings people and communities together, but more specifically; trailblazing men, change-makers, and allies intent on holding space for dialogues and connecting these to action.
Our curated panels alongside our storytellers question traditional masculine narratives, plant seeds for new masculinities to emerge and thrive, and most importantly; challenge us to bring men into the fold when it comes to doing the DE&I work by cultivating inclusive leadership practices.
This is about men stepping in to show up; for themselves, their families, their teams, and their communities. As author bell hooks once wrote: “It is not true that men are unwilling to change. It is true that many men are afraid to change.”
Let this be the beginning of unstitching our fear, and instead, embracing change to live more wholeheartedly.

It's Not Banter. It's Racism: In Conversation with Azeem Rafiq
</b
This is the story of how one cricketer in Yorkshire started a nationwide conversation. When Azeem stood up and courageously spoke out about his experiences of racism at Yorkshire County Cricket Club he was coolly dismissed, told that it was “friendly banter” and that he was a troublemaker. Azeem unpacks his own biases, while also building forgiveness and understanding with the communities he has impacted.

In Conversation with Isaac Harvey MBE on Disability and Mental Health
Born and raised in East London, Isaac shares with us his deeply personal journey of being Black, British, and a man living with a disability called limb-pelvis hypoaplasia which means he has no arms and short legs. Despite his disability, it has not stopped him from achieving things such as skiing, skydiving, tall ship sailing and much more. As a fierce advocate, Isaac continues to disrupt narratives around disability and mental health.
