As part of Global Inclusion Week (10 - 14 June 2024), our in-person learning experience highlights the pivotal role Cultural Intelligence CQ® plays in building inclusion across cultures and provides the opportunity to take a deep dive into evidence-led culture transformation.

Embedding and sustaining impactful culture transformation demands of us to be data-driven ensuring we have the insight and know-how to be effective. CQ is the strategic enabler to make this happen, giving us the knowledge and skills to enable impactful change.

Ireland’s multicultural landscape continues to evolve and if our businesses are to serve their communities in the ways they need, organisations must embrace diversity. Ireland is becoming more diverse, and with this, attitudes and actions towards differences must also change.

The most successful businesses recognise the importance of culture to organisational success. Our curated programme guides you in unleashing the power of data-driven culture transformation and takes you step-by-step through the CQ Model to effectively bridge our differences across cultures, communities, and generations.

Delivered by our CQ® Certified facilitators, this learning experience includes a CQ Assessment for each participant, mapping out their unique CQ Profile and giving insight into their cultural values and behaviours to deepen their understanding of how these impact their appetite for risk, participatory decision-making, and relationship-building.

Our cultural values are what we consider to be important and desirable; they are an expression of our preferred ways of living and working which influence our behaviours.   

 

This session explores:  

  • Why cultural values matter 
  • Introduces 10 cultural value dimensions  
  • Maps your cultural value diversity  

CQ is a person’s capability to work and relate effectively in culturally diverse situations. It is rooted in 2+ decades of academic research from which there emerged 4 CQ capabilities: CQ Drive, CQ Knowledge, CQ Strategy, and CQ Action.  

 

This session explores:

  • Reviews your personalised CQ Feedback Report 

We consider your level of interest, persistence, and confidence during multicultural encounters. Facilitated using breakout activities, we workshop together to enhance your CQ Drive. 

 

This session introduces:   

  • CQ Drive 
  • Reflects upon your CQ Drive scores 
  • Discovers CQ Drive in practice 

We take a deep-dive into your understanding of how cultures are similar and different. Facilitated using breakout activities, we explore strategies to grow your CQ Knowledge. 

 

This session introduces: 

  • CQ Knowledge 
  • Reflects upon your CQ Knowledge scores 
  • Discovers CQ Knowledge in practice 

We look at your awareness and ability to plan for multicultural interactions. This requires self-examination, perspective-taking, and adjusting your mental maps. Facilitated using breakout activities, we workshop to develop your CQ Strategy. 

 

This session introduces:

  • Reflects upon your CQ Strategy scores 
  • Discovers CQ Strategy in practice 

We consider your ability to adapt when relating and working in multicultural contexts, and speak to whether you are adapting your leadership style to draw upon the diversity of your teams.
